Planetary ball mills are essential equipment for mixing, fine grinding, sample preparation, nanoparticle dispersion, new product development, and small-batch production of high-tech materials. This product is compact, versatile, highly efficient, and low-noise, making it an ideal device for research institutions, universities, and corporate laboratories to obtain microparticle research samples (four samples can be obtained simultaneously in each experiment). With the use of a vacuum ball mill jar, samples can be ground under vacuum conditions. It is widely used in geology, mining, metallurgy, electronics, building materials, ceramics, chemical industry, light industry, medicine, cosmetics, environmental protection, and other industries. The rotation speed, alternating forward and reverse rotation time, and total grinding time can be set according to process requirements.
The XQM series variable-frequency planetary ball mill features four grinding jars mounted on a single turntable. As the turntable rotates, the grinding jars revolve around the turntable's axis while simultaneously rotating around their own axes, performing a planetary motion. The grinding balls inside the jars collide with each other at high speed, grinding and mixing the samples. This product can grind and mix products of different particle sizes and materials using both dry and wet methods, achieving a minimum particle size of 0.1 micrometers (i.e., 1.0×10mm-4).
The liquid nitrogen-cooled planetary ball mill places the grinding jar in an insulated chamber, and continuously supplies liquid nitrogen gas to absorb the heat generated by the high-speed rotation of the grinding jar. This ensures that the grinding jar, containing the material and grinding balls, remains at a constant low temperature.
