Laboratory Scale Sealed Hammer Crusher

Hammer crushers are mainly used for coarse, medium, and fine crushing of raw materials, such as coal, ore, limestone, ferrosilicon, and other materials that require crushing. They have the advantages of uniform output particle size and controllable particle size, and are currently favored by users.

Construction and working principle

Hammer crushers are composed of main components such as upper and lower casings, rotor, screen plates, and sealing strips.

The rotor, equipped with hammers, is driven by a motor to rotate at high speed. Coal samples are fed into the machine from the hopper and struck by the high-speed rotating hammers, propelling the material against the screen plates opposite and below. Samples smaller than the screen openings pass through, while larger samples continue to be struck until they all pass through and fall into the receiving hopper in the base. Because the space between the upper casing and the semi-circular screen plate is entirely occupied by the rotor, there is nowhere for the sample to remain, allowing it to be discharged promptly and ensuring the normal operation of the hammer crusher.
