Lab Press Machine

I.Introduction

The lab sample press machine is mainly used for the preparation of solid samples on the fluorescence spectrometer and the compaction of various small powders. It is widely used in powder metallurgy, cement, catalysis, silicon hydrochloric acid, batteries, ceramics and other fields for component analysis. The powder is pressed into test pieces, which are suitable for products of various brands of infrared spectrometers and XRF ray fluorescence spectrometers to provide samples.

The design and manufacture of this machine is based on the long-term experience accumulated in the industry, with strict quality control. It is mainly used for the compression of test pieces of X-ray fluorescence spectrometers. The principle is to put the powder into the mold and press the powder into a standard disc by applying hydraulic pressure. It can also be used in other fields that require sample compression. There are boric acid edging, steel ring shaping, aluminum cup sampling, plastic ring sampling and other methods. Different methods are equipped with different molds for users to choose. Among them, the outer diameter of the disc pressed by conventional boric acid edging, aluminum cup mold and thin-walled steel ring is 40mm, and the outer diameter of the thick-walled steel ring is 45mm. There are many specifications of plastic rings to choose from. Please verify the size of the spectrometer sample opening before ordering. If other sizes are required, please inform us in advance. Boric acid and aluminum cup molds have the best tableting ability, and plastic ring and steel ring molds are relatively easy to operate. However, no matter which mold is used, the powder particle size should be less than 0.074mm and have certain bonding properties when used for spectral analysis. Powders with weak molding ability can be tried by adding binders.

II.Features

1. This machine adopts high-quality touch screen + PLC control. Each compression mode has an independent interface, one-button compression, fully automatic program control to ensure compression consistency, real-time display of working status, accompanied by prompts, and extremely simple operation.

2. The slow pressurization and slow pressure relief technology of this product not only helps to expel air from the sample during pressing and prevent it from being stretched or damaged due to instantaneous pressure loss, but also allows parameters to be set arbitrarily according to the characteristics of different samples, thereby improving the pressing quality and work efficiency.

3. After the sample is pressed, the automatic pressing program can easily push the rocker arm open without turning the screw. It can not only set and manage the piston position, but also has inching and one-button reset functions, making it easy to use even for the first time.

4. It is equipped with a piston retraction relief valve to avoid similar products relying on only one relief valve for both high-pressure pressurization and pressure-limiting control and low-pressure retraction and pressure-limiting control, further reducing the risk of cylinder damage. It also has self-protection functions such as motor reversal, leakage, rocker arm opening and closing identification, and abnormal operation, providing comprehensive safety protection.

5. The hydraulic system solenoid valve adopts well-known brands, with sensitive control and reliable performance. The hydraulic system is equipped with return oil filter, the execution module is highly integrated, and the hydraulic oil pipes are carefully arranged to prevent leakage caused by vibration and stress.

6. The columns, rocker arms and load plates are quenched and tempered, and the mechanical properties are reliable and stable.

7. The control panel seal design has no gaps, good dustproofness, and easy cleaning.

8. The anti-collision arc design at the right angle of the front of the equipment is of suitable height, friendly operation, and the overall posture is generous and has a good appearance harmony with the spectrometer. The four feet are equipped with heavy-duty mobile pulleys to effectively avoid ground damage caused by indoor transportation.
