Hammer crushers inevitably experience various faults during production, which need to be addressed promptly. Below, we share common hammer crusher faults and their solutions.

Common Faults and Solutions
1. Bearing Overheating
Causes: Improper bearing design and selection; insufficient machining precision of equipment parts; poor installation quality; vibration factors; poor lubrication; bearing wear and fit failure; excessive V-belt tension; improper maintenance methods; excessively high ambient temperature.
Solutions: Add appropriate amount of grease; clean the bearing; ensure the bearing housing machining precision meets requirements; replace the bearing, etc.
2. Excessively Large Discharge Particle Size
Causes: Excessive hammer wear; broken screen bars.
Solutions: Replace the hammers; replace the screen bars.
3. Knocking Sound from Flexible Coupling
Causes: Loose pin; worn elastic ring.
Solutions: Stop the machine and tighten the pin nut; replace the elastic ring.
4. Reduced Output
Causes: Clogged screen bar gaps; uneven feeding.
Solutions: Stop the machine, clean the blockages from the screen bar gaps; adjust the feeding mechanism.
5. Knocking Sounds Inside the Machine
Causes: Non-crushable materials entering the machine; loose liner fasteners causing the hammer to strike the liner; broken hammer or other parts.
Solutions: Stop the machine, clean the crushing chamber; check the liner tightness and the gap between the hammer and screen bars; replace broken parts.
